Auto Carpet
Auto Carpet
When you are looking to replace your auto carpet, there are ready made auto carpet that you can
choose from. However, you need to look for auto carpet manufacturer that actually uses a floor pan
from an original vehicle. Some of the manufacturer actually used Totaled vehicles to get the floor pans
and use them to mold and cut the carpet. This insures proper fit.
Also when you are ordering your auto carpet, you need to know the color of the carpet, the material,
the vehicle information which includes the Year, Make, Model, Body Style (2 or 4 door, sedan, hardtop,
hatchback, reg cab, ext cab etc.).
Then you need to know the transmission type and shifter location. This is required for your auto carpet
because different floor pans or different sheetmetal housings are used depending on where and how the
shifter is located.
Finally, if you are ordering auto carpet for your trucks or SUVs, you need to tell them whether yours
is a TWO wheel or FOUR wheel drive.
The following are some of the materials that are available for auto carpet:
- Custom Comfort:
This style of auto carpet is predominantly found in 1974 and later domestic and imported vehicles.
